When choosing this product to redesign, the gluten-free lasagna noodles were sold in a plastic bag. I believe this was ineffective. Plastic bags did not keep the product in optimal condition. This effected sales of the product. Sometimes the box is the better idea! The challenge here was to help the customer to know this was a specialty gluten-free product.

Chris' Water Garden holds a pond garden walk every year for the public. He sells tickets to the event and prints a small multi-page flyer to guide you around to all the featured pond gardens. The goal here was to not only use the flyer as the ticket and guide, but to include their featured plants in the flyer for client identification and purchase. He loves to great each guest in his garden during the pond walk. Chris has pond plants and koi fish for sale, along with his pond building business. By treating this flyer like it was a tour guide pamphlet, plant identifier and a catalog, it increased it's usability for Chris' business. It becomes more than just a ticket to see the featured pond gardens. He can now use it to help him sell their water features, plants, koi fish and ponds all year around. Clients will want to hang onto this multi-purpose tour guide and catalog now.

Parkland College has the Graphic Design students create the holiday card every year. This year during the interview with Tom Ramage and Kris Young, they joked that the colleges mascot was not very holiday friendly. It had never been used on a holiday card because it was a cobra snake. Normally I would agree with them, but I decided to take the challenge. I thought how could you give someone a holiday card with a snake on it and not scare them. Well, this was my answer and they liked it! It was printed and went out for the holidays.
This CD Promotional Campaign featured the works of Dylan Thomas. Tim Schmir worked in a group effort to produce a concert theater production of "A Child's Christmas in Wales" by Dylan Thomas. The old time radio theater show came to mind as a way to celebrate Thomas' 50 years of achievements because this story was first written for radio.
